The collection of Peter Enevski shows the toys of the children 150 years ago. The Art-house "The Dolls" is arranged a permanent exhibition of porcelain dolls, made in the factories of Germany in the late 19th and early 20th century.
. At that time porcelain is expensive, so porcelain dolls only play the children of the rich. Today's antique porcelain dolls are also expensive and are mostly available at auctions. They cost from hundreds to tens of thousands of euros. Peter Enevsky begins to collect them piece by piece - from European and American sites he buys old dolls and pieces of dolls and starts to "assemble" them. The Internet also learns how to restore them.
Most of the dolls are made of uncooked porcelain biscuit made around 1870-1910 in the factories of Thuringia, then called the "puppet capital" of the world. Among the numerous factories stand out: Armand Marseil, Johann Kestner, Camer and Reinhardt.
